Dr. Nilay was born on December 13, 1984 in Izmir. She attended Istanbul Maltepe Anatolian High School from 1996 to 2003, and now, she is married with two children,

In 2003, she was accepted to the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. After graduating in 2008, she worked at Bağcılar Safa Hospital for 4 years.

From 2012 to 2014, she lived abroad in various countries for 2 years due to her husband’s work. She also served as an observer dentist in a private dental clinic in America for 6 months. She returned to Turkey in 2014.
