Ideal candidates have adequate bone density in the jaw but insufficient bone for individual implants. People with ill-fitting dentures are good candidates. Those with unhealthy gums or bone disease may not qualify.
The All-On-4 procedure itself takes 2-3 hours for the full arch rehabilitation under general anesthesia or IV sedation. Post-op recovery takes about 2 weeks.
There is usually some swelling and discomfort for up to 1 week after the procedure. A temporary denture is placed immediately. Final permanent bridge placement is 4-6 months later.
